Ad Manaurem 1762 – Piano Season 2026
Ad Manaurem 1762’s 2026 piano season was centred around a masterclass under the artistic direction of Christopher Hinterhuber, professor at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
Six young pianists were selected to take part in this week of work: Joanna Goranko, Mila Gostijanović, Dominik Ilisz, Riko Imai, Arthur Kokerai and Darren Sheng.

Over several days, the students worked at the Château de La Marthonie in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, in a setting that encouraged concentration and exchange. Individual lessons, rehearsals, discussions about the works, attentive listening and personal practice shaped this week devoted to the piano.
Alongside their daily musical work with Christopher Hinterhuber, the young pianists were able to enjoy a calm and inspiring environment in the heart of the Périgord Vert. The masterclass gave them the opportunity to deepen their interpretation, share their experiences and prepare the programme for the closing concert.
Highlights of the week
The closing concert in Saint-Jean-de-Côle
The final concert took place on Friday, 3 July, in Saint-Jean-de-Côle. The church was full, with nearly 300 people attending to hear the six young artists. The audience discovered a demanding and varied programme, bringing together Bach-Busoni, Brahms, Medtner, Ravel and Liszt.
The evening ended with a long standing ovation, acknowledging the quality of the work accomplished during the week and the commitment of each pianist.
