Ad Manaurem 1762 - Patronage for young musicians
Our mission is to support young musicians who have graduated from the world's top music universities.
We invite them to an exceptional week of masterclass in Périgord, France, under the artistic direction of renowned professors.
Our programme of excellence is based on a partnership with the best music academies. It includes daily, individual lessons enabling these young talents to perfect their own project of the classical repertoire.
Stay in the Périgord Vert
We invite the laureates to join us in this place where, since the earliest traces of humanity, artists have expressed themselves with complete freedom.
Here, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life, our participants can dedicate themselves entirely to music.
In this authentic environment, where natural and cultural heritage blend perfectly, our artists can begin to shape a bright future.
Accommodation
Our students are accommodated in guesthouses around the village of Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas.
The goal is to give students the opportunity to spend time and interact with other students from different countries. Together, they will have access to leisure activities. The locations are equipped with practice pianos for individual rehearsals for the piano master classes and have ample spaces to practice other instruments.
For example, the Gîte de la Baine is a property located in a hamlet off the road between Saint-Martin-de-Fressengeas and Saint-Jean-de-Côle. It consists of two tastefully restored houses, one in a traditional style and the other in a contemporary style, and a small barn converted into a comfortable game room with a ping-pong table and a foosball table. Each person can enjoy independence on the property, with shared spaces available for gathering at chosen times.
An exceptional venue for master classes: The Château de La Marthonie
This iconic château of the Périgord Vert has been owned by the Beaumont-Beynac family since the 11th century. Rebuilt in the 15th century and expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries, it welcomes us into its grand salons, an ideal setting for advanced courses. It is one of those places where you immediately feel at ease.
The end-of-week concert
A closing concert is held at the end of the week in the church of Saint-Jean-de-Côle. It is open to a wide audience as well as music professionals.
The village of Saint-Jean-de-Côle has been ranked as one of the most beautiful villages in France. We aim to make this an unforgettable moment for our young talents performing in front of a large audience and for our distinguished guests (agents, journalists, VIPs, etc.).
